Mark your calendars, lace up your running shoes and help us celebrate the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia (DSANV) with our third annual Spring Sprint 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run on Sunday, April 21 at Occoquan Regional Park.
Proceeds from this exciting event will go towards supporting DSANV's mission to ensure all individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Northern Virginia area receive the support necessary to participate in, contribute to and achieve fulfillment of life in their communities. - 6:00 a.m. | Occoquan Regional Park Opens
- 6:30 a.m. | Exhibitor Setup Opens
- 6:45 a.m. | Event Day Race Pack Pickup and Late Registration Opened
- 7:45 a.m. | Event Day 5K Race Pack Pickup & Late Registration Closed (Fun Run will remain open until 8:45 a.m.)
- 7:50 a.m. | Welcome and Opening Announcements
- 7:55 a.m. | National Anthem
- 8:00 a.m. | 5K Race Start (Exhibitor Area Opens)
- 8:45 a.m. | Fun Run Race Pack Pickup and Late Registration Closed
- 9:15 – 9:30 a.m. | Fun Run Start (start time may be delayed while remaining 5K participants cross finish line)
- 9:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | Post-Race Activities Begin
- 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. | Post-Race Activities Wind Down
