The Donna M. Saunders Foundation, Inc. is not letting COVID stop our FUNdraising. The purpose of this great event is to raise funds for the Donna M. Saunders Foundation Inc., a Northern Virginia based non-profit organization that provides direct financial support to breast cancer patients and educates the public about the disease.
Where: Anywhere you want! You get to pick your course to walk or run!
When: Run or Walk on November 21, 2020, then log back into your registration account and log your results.
Registration Fees:
5K: $40 adults/ $20 age 10 and under
5K with Commemorative Medal: $45 Adults/ $25 age 10 and under
Registration will close on Saturday, November 7 at noon.
Packet Pick-up: November 14, 2020, Potomac River Running Store, Springfield, VA (7287 Commerce St. Springfield, VA 22150) from 11am - 5pm.
Swag: Registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt and custom bib with registration. Medals are an additional cost that can be added to the registration.
Packet Shipping: A shipping option is available for those out of town or do not wish to participant in the in person packet pick up, for an additional fee. Must register by October 31, 2020 to ensure packet is received prior to November 21, 2020.
Donna M. Saunders Foundation, Inc. is a Northern Virginia based 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides direct financial support to breast cancer patients and educates the public about the disease. We're known for our outstanding outreach programs and our financial assistance grant program for breast cancer patients going through a financial crisis. We host awareness events to educate the public about the disease with hopes of ensuring early detection. What differentiates our foundation from the other cancer foundations is that we respond to the cancer patients' needs within 72 hours to relieve them financially during their crisis. From housing, transportation, medical expenses, food insecurity, utilities and other daily living expenses, we respond immediately! Due to the pandemic, we have had a spike in requests from breast cancer patients. Your donations are extremely helpful and needed!
