Start the New Year off on the right foot! Join us for the second running of the New Day * New Year 5k Run/Walk. Take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate the first new day of the New Year with a 5k run/walk and receive commemorative beanie hat, buff/scarf, and gloves. 

Plan to stick around for a post-race breakfast at House 6 Brewing with delicious food from our food truck and beer on tap from House 6. (Must be 21 years or older with valid ID to purchase and drink alcohol). We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the New Day of the New Year!

5K Course – start time 9:30 AM

3.1 mile will start and finish at House 6 Brewing, 44427 Atwater Dr., Ashburn, VA 20147 and run through neighborhood streets of the brewery. The 5K course will be open for 60 min.

Team Challenge: Make it more fun! Form a team to represent a family, company or a group of friends and compete against other teams! Register individuals as a team separately. The first person will create the team name, then each additional person will be able to pick the team name from the drop down menu. For awards; a team must consist of at least 4 and must include at least 1 female and 1 male. Top 4 finishers' times will be combined to determine the team's time. Top 2 overall teams for the 5K will win and receive an award. 

Post-Race Activities: Plan to celebrate the New Day of the New Year with breakfast at House 6 Brewing from our food truck and beer on tap from House 6 Brewing. (Must be 21 years or older with valid ID to purchase and drink alcohol).

Awards: will be awarded to the overall male and overall female, second place overall male and second place overall female and to the top two male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 - 18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+

Charity Recipient

Rotary Club of Leesburg's Perry Winston Memorial Scholarship Fund is an annual scholarship awarded to local high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college/ university or community college. Each year, two scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each are awarded to deserving students. 

NOTE: There are no refunds available for this event. Race swag must be picked up on race day.
