The Reston Runners are hosting the 6th annual Runners Marathon of Reston on Sunday, April 8, 2018, 7:30 AM. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, 2-leg half marathon relay and 4-leg marathon relay. The racecourse has some hills and turns, and provides runners a mixture of fast downhill road running, beautiful paved trails, and some lightly challenging uphill sections. The course is a 13.1 mile loop; marathoners run the course twice.
We provide a free pasta dinner for runners and volunteers during packet pickup the night before the race, and an extensive post-race feast for all participants, volunteers and their families. The race starts and finishes at South Lakes High School with a comfortable indoor space (Flush toilets! Coffee! Showers!). The course is amply supported with eager volunteers, porta-potties, race-course food and Gatorade.
Registration Fees
Sept. 1-Dec. 31: $85 for the Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
$200 for the Marathon Relay (up to 4 people)
Jan. 1-April 4: $95 for the Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
$240 for the Marathon Relay (up to 4 people)
$140 for the Half Marathon Relay (2 people)

25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 & older.
* One male and female award winners in the following two categories: Reston Runners and First Time Marathoner.
Note: Runners are eligible for a single award, except for the "Reston Runners" and "First Timer" awards. Those runners are eligible for age group/overall awards.
