Join Langston Hughes Middle School for the Second Annual Panther Pride 5k on Saturday, February 25 starting at 10:00 am. 

The Langston Hughes 5k is about promoting running among our student body. We want to promote running within our student body to get our students interested in running and starting a healthy lifestyle which includes being active. The Panther Pride 5k will raise money to replenish our Technology fund. For volunteering and sponsoring information, please visit our website, www.lhmspta.com

Registration fees:

Students (K-12): $10 

Adults: $25 

Online registration for all categories will close on Thursday, February 23 at 8:00 pm.

Packet Pick up:  Will be held at The Langston Hughes MS Hall of Nations on Friday, February 24 from 6-8. Then again at Hughes MS race morning starting at 8:00 am. Registration will be available during packet pick up (t-shirts will not be guaranteed) and on race morning. 

Swag: The first 150 registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt. Register early to ensure you receive a shirt. 

Awards: Awards will be giving out to the Top over all Male and Female finisher and the top male and female finishers from the following age groups; 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over. There will also be awards for 12 & U (not in middle school), top 7th grade boy and girl and top 8th grade boy and girl.
