Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers.

Top 3 reasons to run our race:

3) It is a great course for first-timers (or a PR). The run is an out and back course along a beautiful, almost flat stretch of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. This is the perfect event for all ages and fitness levels.

2) SWAG (and some cool prizes). Everyone who registers will get a commemorative T-shirt.

1) You'll change a kid's life. All funds from the run will go to the Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Youth Leadership Foundation's mission is to build character and support the pursuit of academic excellence among youth in the Washington Metropolitan area.  Our Program for Academic and Leadership Skills helps girls to understand themselves and the world; developing a deep sense of who they are.  Our Tenley Achievement Program cultivates virtue and encourages boys to lead by example.  Since founded in 1997, 3,000 students have been through our programs.  YLF students receiving mentoring during the formative years are 130% more likely than their peers to hold a leadership position upon entering the workforce.

Sponsor a YLF student to run too! For another $45, you'll cover the cost of a committed student to participate - See donation options after accepting disclaimer and clicking continue below
