Join us for St. Coletta’s first annual Run ‘n’ Roll – and support individuals with disabilities in the Greater Washington area!

Join us on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 9:00am for the inaugural St. Coletta Run ‘n’ Roll. This event is more than just a race; it’s a party celebrating diversity, strengths-based inclusion, respect, and solidarity with our neighbors with disabilities!

St. Coletta is a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization that serves children and adults in the Greater Washington area with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, autism, and secondary disabilities. St. Coletta operates a school as well as adult programs in the region. The focus of St. Coletta’s work is on helping each individual become as independent as possible.

Proceeds from the Run ‘n’ Roll will sponsor St. Coletta’s school and adult programs, activities, and adaptive equipment – all components that assist St. Coletta’s students and adult participants in their journey toward greater independence.

WHEN: 9:00 am 5k and 1k start time (please arrive early, as the race will begin promptly at 9:00am!)

WHERE:

• The Run 'n' Roll will start and finish in RFK Stadium Lot 8 in Washington, DC.
• The Post-Race Open House will be held one block from the race site at the St. Coletta school: 1901 Independence Ave., SE, Washington, DC
• Please Note: Use of public transportation is strongly recommended and encouraged. Stadium/Armory Metro station is directly across from the St. Coletta School. Parking is limited and available only at the St. Coletta school. There is NO parking at the RFK Lots. 

REGISTRATION FEES for 5k and 1k:

• Participants Ages 12 & Over:
  • $30 until August 15
  • $35 from August 16 until September 15
  • $40 from September 16 until online registration closes on October 20 at 8:00pm
  • $45 during packet pick up and on race day
• Participants Ages 2-11:
  • $10 until August 15
  • $15 from August 16 until September 15
  • $20 from September 16 until online registration closes on October 20 at 8:00pm
  • $25 during packet pick up and on race day
• Participants Under 2:
  • Free

SWAG:  All registered 5k and 1k participants ages 2 & over will receive an exclusive race t-shirt to commemorate St. Coletta’s first annual Run ‘n’ Roll!

AWARDS:  The top 3 male and female finishers in the 5k will receive awards. Awards will also be given to the top three 5k and 1k finishers in the 11 & Under age group and in the “Wheelchair Participants” group.

PACKET PICK UP: 

• Friday, October 21 at the DC =PR= Store (919 F  St. NW, Washington, DC) from 12-3 pm
• Saturday, October 22 at the =PR= Store in Arlington (4501 North Fairfax Dr., Arlington, VA) from 11-2
• Sunday, October 23 at 8 am: RFK Lot 8

Please Note: All race packets must be picked up at one of the designated packet pickup times. Packets will not be mailed after the race. In addition, awards must be claimed within two weeks of the conclusion of the race.

Post-Race Open House

After the race, come party with us at the St. Coletta school, located just one block from the race course. We’ll have breakfast, music, and fun in spades – including games and activities for kids, tours of the beautiful Michael Graves-designed St. Coletta school building, and shopping available through the St. Coletta Shops.
