Join us for the First Annual Burke Blaze 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, June 11 starting at 8:00 a.m. 

Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church and the Burke Blaze 5k supports many programs within the community. All proceeds from the race will benefit AUUC community out reach programs, including environmental initiatives, interfaith activities and community support such as hypothermia shelters and low income housing. 

The race will start and end in the Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church (10125 Lakehaven Ct. Burke, VA 22015) The 5k will will head out on the paved course, while the 1k walkers will enjoy the natural setting of the church property. There will be a water stop along the 5k course and additional post race refreshments for all to enjoy after both events.  

Registration: (online registration will close June 9 at 8:00 p.m.)

5k: $30 through May 31, June 1- Race day $35 

1k Fun Run: $20 through May 31, June 1-Race day $25

1k for children under 12: $10 through May 31, June 1-Race day $15

All participates registered before May 24 will receive a race T-shirt and bag. Late registrants will receive them on a first come first serve basis. 

Packet pick up willl be held at the Burke PR Store (5715 Burke Centre Pkwy, Burke) on Friday, June 10 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers
