StarKid 5K 

The 11th Annual StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center. It’s a fun-filled morning of running, moon bounces, face painting, music and more!  Kids, strollers, and four legged friends are welcome to participate.

The schedule is:

8:00 a.m. - Family Fun Run Start

8:30 a.m. - 5K Race Start

9:30 a.m. - Awards and Prizes

The StarKid 5K benefits the world-class the Inova Children’s Heart Program, providing life-saving care in a child-friendly environment close to home at the Inova Children’s Hospital. This program is nationally recognized and one of the largest, most successful programs in the mid-Atlantic region, providing specialized care to children of all ages from Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, and beyond. 

The goal of 11th Annual StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run is to raise $125,000! The proceeds from this event make a tremendous impact on our patients. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase equipment, send staff to educational conferences, assist with patient education and much more.  

Packet pick up will be held on Friday 6/3 at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute Atrium (Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, 3300 Gallows Rd, Falls Chursch, VA 22042) Please park in the Grey Lot (payment required). Additional packet pick up will be the =PR= Store at Fairfax Corner, 11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030 from 12-4 pm and then on Sunday, June 5 starting at 6:30 am.
