BENEFICIARIES: The HOPE Association (HOPE) is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2012 out of the need to extend the reach and influence of the local church to the DC metro area by moving outside of the church walls to touch lives in the community. The HOPE Association strives to meet people where they are at and minister to their needs, whether it be spiritual, physical, emotional, or relational. Our goal is to be a genuine blessing for the community around us and provide a place of healing for all those who are in pain. Our vision is that those who come to HOPE would find their true passion and life calling in the service of others and go out and meet the needs of those they have been called to serve. Through our local community service programs and events, we strive to create opportunities for volunteers to live out their passions while meeting the needs of the various local community partners that are in need of our support. These programs and events aim to make a real impact in the lives of others and bring hope and healing to so many in need. Further, through our leadership development program, we not only provide our volunteers with hands-on experience at serving others, but we seek to inspire them and equip them with the tools they need to be the future leaders our world so desperately hungers for. Everything we do at HOPE is based upon the simple truth that our legacy is not found in our present work but rather in the future generations of lives that have been made better through our presence.

STROLLER FRIENDLY: This race is stroller friendly (including the Fun Run).

AWARDS: There will be awards to the top 3 overall male and female finishers of the 5k. There will also be an award for the top fundraiser.*
