The Dog Days of Summer 5K forth in the series of the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Run Your Parks Race Series.  

Claude Moore Park welcomes racers to participate in this timed 5K event. Dedicated dogs may have their day too! Your well behaved canine campanions may join you for this race. All dogs must be controlled on a standard leash no longer than 6 feet long. PLEASE NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES

5K Starts at 8:00 am

Registration Fee is $35 through August 2, then $40 through Race Day.

Online registation will close on Thursday, August 15 at 8:00 pm. Late registration will be available during packet pick up and on race day - CASH OR CHECK ONLY

Registrants will receive a commerative race shirt, be sure to register by August to be guaranteed a shirt!

Packet pickup will be at Claude Moore Park on Friday, August 16 from 3-6 pm, then on race day, starting at 7:00 am. 

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers and the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups; 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over.
