2022 Superheroes for SafeSpot 5K & Fun Run

Register for 2022 Superheroes for SafeSpot 5K & Fun Run

Please join us on Saturday, September 17th for a fun-filled morning that the entire family can enjoy! In addition to our certified 5K, we will have a Fun Run for children, entertainment, and activities for every member of the family. Dress up as your favorite Superhero to show your support! 

Where: Lake Fairfax, Canopy G
1400 Lake Fairfax Drive,
 Reston, VA 20190
*This certified 5K is a mix of a cross-county trail and woodsy terrain. 

Schedule:
On site packet pickup: 8:00am
Warm-ups: 8:50am
5K Runners/Walkers Start: 9:00am
Fun Run Start: 9:05am


Registration Fees: We will be offering an In-person event following the current local guidelines. 

5K Adult:  $35 through August 22
                 $40 through September 16
                 $45 on Race Day, September 17

5K (12 & Under): $15


Packet Pick-up on Friday, September 16 from 4-7pm at =PR= Reston (11911 Democracy Dr. Reston, VA 20190), and then at Lake Fairfax on Saturday, September 17, starting at 8:00 am. 

Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finishers medal. Besure to register no later than Sept 1 to be guaranteed a shirt. 

Awards, will be given to the overall male & female finisher, plus the top male & female finisher in the following age groups: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over. There will be additions prizes for the best dressed Superhero!

SafeSpot Children's Advocacy Center of Fairfax offers hope and healing to children and families impacted by abuse in our community. Please join us on Saturday, September 17 for a fun-filled morning that the entire family can enjoy. In addition to our main race, we will have a fun run for children, live music and entertainment, and activities for every member of the family. Dress up as your favorite Superhero to show your support!
