Please bring a CANned food item and join us for the 3rd annual CAN the Bird 5K Turkey Trot, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, beginning at 8:00 am. The race will begin and end in the Walmart parking lot, 5885 Kingstowne Boulevard, Alexandria, VA 22315.

All ages can enjoy a run, jog or stroll around Kingstowne and its scenic Lake.

Registrants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and swag/deals from our sponsors. 

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall male and female finishers, top 3 male and female finishers in 12 & Under and 13-18 age groups. Plus fastest runner with dog and fastest runner with stroller will receive an award. 

Donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted by Koinonia
