** McLean 5k Registration Update **

Due to the overwhelming and unexpected demand from our runners, the McLean 5k has run out of race shirts. We will continue to accept registrations for the race; however, runners who register after 3:00PM on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, will receive their shirts after the race. We are fully committed to ensuring all runners receive their McLean 5k race shirts.  We will message runners about a pick-up time and place when the shirts are available.  The McLean Community Center will mail any shirts that cannot be picked up to the participants. 

The McLean 5k is back and ready to run in 2021!  Hosted by the McLean Community Center (MCC) and McLean Community Foundation (MCF) with the generous support of our valued sponsors CENTURY 21 New Millennium and the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce.  

The start and finish line are located at the McLean Square Shopping Center, 6631 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, VA 22101. 

Race Start time is 8:00 am


5K: $35 through May 31
       $40 June 1 through August 31
       $45 September 1 through October 1
       $50 October 2 - RACE DAY!


Online registration will close on Thursday, September 30 at 8pm

Packet pick up will be Friday, October 1 at the Old Firehouse Center, 1440 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101 from 9am to 8pm. 

McLean 5k participants will receive a Commemorative Technical Race Shirt, be sure to register before September 15 to be guaranteed a shirt.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finisher, plus the top two male & females finishers in the following age groups will receive a medal: Under 9, 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ 

The proceeds from the McLean 5K Run will benefit the McLean Community Foundation, our local charity that supports all things McLean, from fire trucks to playgrounds to social services. For more than 40 years, MCF grants have enhanced the quality of life in McLean, encouraged civic spirit and supported community projects that we all value.
