Register for 2021 Dulles Jingle on the Runway 5K/10K

We hope to see you out on the course in person on December 4. However, if government guidelines regarding COVID-19 determine it best, the Jingle on the Runway may be converted into a virtual race. Please stay tuned for updates.

Online registration will close Sunday 11/28 at 8:00 pm or when we reach 1500 registrants; whichever comes first.

The Washington Dulles International Airport community is excited to celebrate the holidays with you at the 2021 Jingle on the Runway 5K/10K. We have in-person and virtual options available and we hope you will be able to help us celebrate 9 amazing years!

This is your opportunity for the flattest, fastest course in the area! The runway will be closed off for runners to experience a unique look at the airport grounds, something you do not get to do every day! Run past planes and along the actual landing strip on this certified looped course.

When:
Saturday, December 4, 2021. The 5K will start at 7:45 a.m. and the 10K will start at 7:55 a.m. Or you can participate virtually between December 3-5, along a course of your choice

Course: The event will feature both a 5K and a 10K. The 10k will run the entire length of the runway! Both races are flat and fast.

All in-person runners must be able to complete the chosen course and be off the runway by 9:00 a.m. so that it can be reopened for aircraft traffic. To allow for extra time, the final 1/2 mile will be on a connector, so provided you are off the air strip and beyond the final checkpoint by 9:00 a.m., you will have plenty of time to finish! We haven't had a runner unable to finish the course yet!

We plan to have a water station along the course, although you are encouraged to carry your own water, if needed.

Registration Fee: Sign up early! There is a limit of 1,500 runners for this year's event.
