The Bluemont Shamrock 5K/10K is now in its 7^th year and has steadily grown over the years, starting with just over 100 runners our first year, to selling out the past two years! The race is a fundraiser organized by the volunteer Board Members of the Bluemont Community Center Advisory Board to benefit scholarships and fund other educational support programs for the Bluemont Community Center. 

The Board has chosen a virtual event for 2021. We could not stand the thought of canceling the race but did not feel that we could safely and efficiently put on a race under COVID-19 restrictions. It is our hope that our amazing running community will continue to support our race this year, so that we can come back, better than ever, in 2022!

Run your 5K/10K anytime between Friday, March 12 and Sunday, March 14, anywhere you want. 

Prior to the race weekend, instructions will be sent on how to upload your results and any other important reminders. 

Registration fee is $40 ($20 for children 12 & Under) for either distance and includes; a commemorative race shirt, custom bib and finishers medal. Shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by February 28. Register early to be sure to get a shirt!




Packets will be available for pick up Wednesday, March 10, Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12 at the Bluemont Community Center (33846 Snickersville Turnpike, Bluemont, VA 20135) from 10 am-6pm. 

If you would rather have your packet shippped, you can choose that option for an additional $5. Mailing will begin on Tuesday, March 9
