Register for 2020 Runners Marathon of Reston
We have been forced to cancel the 2020 edition of the Runners Marathon of Reston after learning that Fairfax County has canceled community use of its facilities for the next month. The Reston Runners are hosting the 8th annual Runners Marathon of Reston on Sunday, April 5, 2020, 7:30 AM. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, 2-leg half marathon relay and 4-leg marathon relay. The racecourse has some hills and turns, and provides runners a mixture of fast downhill road running, beautiful paved trails, and some lightly challenging uphill sections. The course is a 13.1 mile loop; marathoners run the course twice.
We provide a free pasta dinner for runners and volunteers during packet pickup the night before the race, and an extensive post-race feast for all participants, volunteers and their families. The race starts and finishes at South Lakes High School with a comfortable indoor space (Flush toilets! Coffee! Lots of seating!). The course is amply supported with eager volunteers, porta-potties, race-course food and Gatorade. Runners and volunteers receive a race shirt (tech or sweatshirt), hoorag and other goodies at packet pick up.

Sept. 30 - Dec. 31: $85 for the Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
$220 for the Marathon Relay (up to 4 people)
$160 for Half Marathon Relay (two people)
Jan. 1-April 1: $95 for the Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
$260 for the Marathon Relay (up to 4 people)
$180 for the Half Marathon Relay (2 people)

April 3-5: $100 Marathon & 1/2 Marathon

Awards for the Marathon & Half Marathon
* Top 3 overall Male & Female winners
* Top 3 overall Male & Female masters
* Top 3 male & female finishers in each of the following age groups: 15-19, 20-24,
25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 & older.
* The male and female top finisher running their First Marathon and First Half- Marathon. There is a special category for those running in their very first Full and Half Marathon. You must be registered in these categories to be eligible for the award, and it must be the first one ever!
Note: Runners are eligible for a single award, except for the "Reston Runners" and "First Timer" awards. Those runners are also eligible for age group/overall awards.
Awards for Relay: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Relay Teams to Finish in both the Marathon Relay and Half Marathon Relay
