Kent Gardens Spring Spectacular Event, Saturday, March 28, is Cancelled
The Kent Gardens PTA Board is disappointed to share that given the guidelines for school use closures detailed in the FCPS Superintendent's email on March 12, the Spring Spectacular, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, is cancelled. This includes all aspects of the day, including the 5K, Fun Run and Carnival.
Per the guidelines on our this race entry website, there are no refunds for race entry fees.

Registration Fees:
5K: $30 through March 15, $35 March 16-25, $40 March 27 - Race Day
Fun Run $20 through March 15, $25 March 16-25, $30 March 27 - Race Day
Online Registration will close on Wednesday, March 25at 8pm
*Please note: Any runner registered after March 15 will not receive a Spring Spectacular T-shirt
Swag and Finisher Prizes
All runners registered prior to March 15 will receive a short-sleeve Spring Spectacular T-Shirt and all finishers will receive a Spring Spectacular bracelet! Awards will be given to overall winners as well as age group winners. Stay and play at the Carnival, bid on raffle items and enjoy on-site food and beverage options.
Packet Pick Up will take place on Friday, March 27 in the Front Lobby from 8:30-9am and 3:30-4pm.
Finally, last minute registrations and packet pick up will be offered on race morning, Saturday, March 28 at the race site.
Post-Race Fun
Join us for a Carnival, grab food and drink with friends and have fun with your Kent Gardens Community after the race. The Carnival will begin at 10am, and all registered runners will receive complimentary admission to the fun! Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted by Food Truck vendors on-site.
Our 5k and Fun Run start and end at Kent Gardens Elementary. Check out the course and see where you’ll be running!
Course Map
Please note: For the safety of all runners, please DO NOT park along Melbourne Drive on Race Day, until approximately 10am. In addition, no vehicular traffic is allowed along the Race Route for any reason. Please plan accordingly.
