Due to the Pandemic, Fairfax High School is looking for creative and engaging ways for our students and community to stay connected and healthy. The Virtual 5K Challenge safely gives us this opportunity, while also improving our mental and physical well-being. A virtual race is an event in which everyone can participate; run, walk, bike, swim or erg at your own pace and at a time and location that suits your schedule. 

We hope you will consider taking this Challenge with us!

REGISTRATION:
$25 per person
$90 per family of four (the discount will be taken at the cart level)

** Registration will remain open through November 30 at midnight. Any registrations after November 20, can pick up on December 2 from 3:30-5:00 or will be shipped on December 2. 

SWAG: Runners will recieve a custom race bib and commemorative T-shirt. 

Share your success and compete for prizes and awards by uploading your race photo to Instagram with #FHSVirtual5K.

PRIZES: will be given for the following categories: 
1. Most spirited runner/costume
2. participant from the furthest distance
3. Oldest aged entry
4. Youngest aged entry
5. Registrant with the best 4 legged participant
6. Student with the most funds raised individually
7. student with the most family registered

PACKET PICKUP: will be on Friday 11/20 from 3:30-5:00 pm and Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Fieldhouse door at Fairfax HS. For those uncomfortable with in person packet pick up, shipping will be availble for $5 per packet. 

Due to Covid-19 and the postponement of high school athletics, we want to keep our Fairfax HS community united and connected, promote our new mascot and our Lion Pride!

Typically, the Fairfax HS Athletic Boosters supplements the Athletic Department with funds maintenance and equipment. Due to the delay in the athletic seasons, The FHS Boosters have lost its primary ways of fundraising. The proceeds raised from this Challenge will allow the Boosters to continue to support all of the FHS athletic programs and ensure our Lion athletes have what they need to compete for FHS!
