Grab your sneakers chart your own course and head out your door anytime the weekend of September 11-13 to compete in the Virtual Ashburn Village It Takes a Village 5K/10K/1 Mile.  All participants will receive a race t-shirt, commemorative bib, medal and other promotional items.

Ashburn Village cares about their "village" all race proceeds benefit Callen's Cause for SIDS Research

Callen's Cause for SIDs Research, a local charity founded by Callen's parents to advance the research leading to identification and prevention of SIDS/SUID and increase the availability of technology which reduces SIDS/SUID risk.

RACE REGISTRATION for all distances: 

10K/5K/1M Residents: $30
10K/5K/1M Non-Residents: $35

Online registration will close at midnight, Monday, September 7.

AWARDS - A virtual race is about the experience and raising money for a great cause. All timing will be self reporting and times will be posted on the race website. Instead of overall winners, awards will be choosen based upon photos sent in. The following categories will be judged with the opportunity to win a $50 VISA gift card - all submission information will be included with the packet.

* We are family! Best family photo op
* Believe in your selfie! Best post-race selfie
*PAWfect picture with your four legged friend(s)

PACKET PICK UP will be at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion starting Monday, September 7,  ending Friday September 11. If you live out of the area, you will have the option to have the packet mailed to you for an additional cost. The deadline to have items shipped is Thursday, September 3 at midnight.

To ensure you receive your packet prior to the race, either by mail or in person, you must be registered by September 2. Registration will remain open through September7, but pre-race delivery is not guaranteed.
