Legendary retired Redskins, Brian Mitchell and Santana Moss, TEAM UP! with The Salvation Army at their second annual 5K event designed to help raise funds in support of their afterschool programs here in Fairfax County.  

 


The Salvation Army has been providing free afterschool programs to less fortunate children and their families since 2002. These programs offer character development activities, music instruction, homework help, on-site recreation and an overall safe place for our children to be, when there is nowhere else to go. 

As the County continues to grow and expand, so does the need, as more and more families fall between the cracks. TEAM UP! with The Salvation Army to help keep these vital programs alive in our community.

Join the Fairfax Salvation Army for the Team Up! 5K on Saturday, September 28 at 8:00 am. 

Registration Fees
5K: $35 through June 30
      $40 July 1 through September 26 at 8:00 pm
      $45 during packet pick up and on race morning.

Online registration will close on Thursday, September 26 at 8:00 pm. Late/in person registration will be accepted during packet pick up and on race morning.

Packet pick up will be on Friday, September 27 from 4-6 pm at the =PR= Burke Store and on race day on site, starting at 7:00 am. 

Race Shirts will be given to participants who register online through September 9, 2019. Shirts cannot be guaranteed after this date and will only be available on a first come first serve basis for late registrants. 

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finisher.

Teams of runners are welcome and encouraged!
