Meridians Recovery is looking forward to hosting a Run for Recovery 5K/10K Trail Run/Family Walk at Algonkian Regional Park on Saturday, September 28 at 9:00 am to raise money so we can open a women's recovery house.  

The impact of opening 7 beds for women in a sober living environment will have a dramatic effect in our community by filling a gap in services that are currently unmet. By tying this program with community based services, the Loudoun County Drug Court and the services already available through Meridians Recovery we will be dramatically impacting the public health emergency that exists by making significant in-roads fighting the opiate epidemic. Loudoun County can no longer rely strictly on the response of the Community Services Board and critical care responses by local and area emergency response teams. There must be partnering with viable non-profit organizations that exist within our community.

Registration Fees: 
5K / 10K / Family Fun Run: $30 per person through June 30, $35 through Race Day.

Online registration will close on Thursday, September 26 at 8:00 pm. 

Packet pick up will be at Potomac River Running's One Loudoun location (near Barnes & Noble) on Friday, September 27, from 4-7 pm, then on Saturday at the race site starting at 8:00 am. 

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers for the 5K and the 10K. Top 3 recovery runners, and participation medals for the kids.

All participants will receive a race shirt, be sure to register before September 15 to be guaranteed a shirt.
