Transport yourself to yesteryear at the Historic Waterford Trail Run/Walk.  Bring your family and friends to experience a unique trail run through fields and trails in this National Historic Landmark, located in its original 1800s rural setting.  There will be something for everyone. Spend some time enjoying the beauty of an early American rural community!

Part of the allure of the Waterford environs is its historic purity.  Therefore, the trails are rustic and you may encounter a little mud… but that is half the fun!  Proceeds from the race benefit the Waterford Foundation.

Event Information: 

5k Trail Run/Walk – 9:00am.  The course will involve trails, fields, unpaved roads, and paved roads.  You will have 1 hour to complete the race. 

10k Trail Run – 9:00am.  The course will involve trails, fields, unpaved roads and paved roads.  You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the race.  If you are planning to walk please register for the 5k.  The 10k start will be first, followed 2 minutes later by the 5k start. 

Kids Fun Run – 10:15am.  The Kids Fun Run is approximately 1 mile and the course will go through Phillips Farm on trails.  Each child who finishes will get a small reward at the end of the race.  Parents are welcome to run with their children without a separate registration.

Registration fees:
5k:  $30 through March 31, $35 April 1 through race day
10k:  $40 through March 31, $45 April 1 through race day
Fun Run:  $20 through race day

Online registration will close on Wednesday, April 24 at 8:00 pm. 

Awards – 10:15am.  The top 3 overall male and female 5k and 10k finishers will receive an award. 

Swag:  All 5k and 10k participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and 5k and 10k finishers will be presented with a locally handcrafted pewter finisher’s medal of the historic Second Street School, this year.  Kids Fun Run will receive a t-shirt and finishers award.  Please register by April 3^rd to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
