Register for the 2019 Food for Others 5k and Fun Run, Saturday, September 7th

Food for Others is the largest provider of free groceries directly to people in need in Northern Virginia. Last year FFO distributed 2.2 million pounds of food, 91% having been donated. Hunger affects people from all walks of life and our vision is a community free from food insecurity and hunger.

In an area known for its affluence there are pockets of great need.  1 in 17 people live in poverty in Fairfax County, including 1 in 14 children. With a food insecurity rate of 5.3%, nearly 60,000 people face uncertain access to enough food to support a healthy life. Food for Others is a place to turn for those in need of food, serving 1,500 households on average per week.

Please consider making an impact on our neighbors in need by supporting the 2019 FFO Tysons 5K and Fun Run. Your $35 registration fee provides milk and eggs for 15 families.
