Maybe your family has had to sprint to the bus stop? Perhaps, there was a time you needed to race around the house to be on time for a school performance? Or, have you ever looped back to the house to retrieve the forgotten field trip permission slip or instrument? Now is the time to put that speed training to good use!  

Join us for the fabulously fun Churchill Challenge 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk. This is a community-friendly event touring the welcoming neighborhood streets (with gentle hills) around Churchill Road Elementary. You are made for this! 

There is a good chance you will be striding out next to a teacher or CRS staff member and it is likely elementary students will offer inspiring words of encouragement as you make your way around this looped course. 

Join the Churchill Road PTA on Saturday, March 30 and get moving by participating in the Churchill Challenge, including a 5K race and a 1 mile Fun Run.This event will be open to Churchill Road families, as well as the general public. The Fun Run will start at 8:00 am with the 5k to follow at 8:30 am.

REGISTRATION FEES
5k: $30 through February 28, $40 through Race Day
5k (13 & U): $25 through Race Day
Fun Run: $25 through Race Day
*Please note: all participants on the course must be registered!

Online registration will close on Wednesday, March 27, at 8:00 pm

Be sure to register before March 8 to be guaranteed a race shirt.

PACKET PICK UP will be held at Churchill Road Elementary on Friday, March 29 from 8:00am-9:00 am, 3:00-7:00 pm and then on race morning 7:00-7:30 am 

AWARDS: For the  5k, trophies will  be awarded to the overall male and female winner. Additionally, medals will be awarded for the top male and female finisher in each of the following age categories: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over. Top Churchill teacher will also receive an award and there will be an award for the "Winston Warrior" - most Churchill Spirit.  All participants will receive a medal/ribbon. 

The Churchill Road PTA supports an active community to promote healthy lifestyle choices like getting moving, while fundraising to support the PTA's multiple efforts at the school. All proceeds from the event support Churchill Road Elementary. The endorphins generated are yours to keep, as well as the hip race shirt and swag.
