Join the Wolftrap Elementary School PTA, students, family, and the community on Sunday, April 8 for our 12th Annual 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 a.m. The start and finish line are located at the school, 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182. This fun and competitive event is a major fundraiser for the PTA. Not only can participants enjoy the race and/or fun run, but the morning will also feature music by DJ Darin Pusker (Belt It Out Productions), race awards, a cake walk, raffles of baskets full of goodies, after-race treats, plus some additional exciting surprises that are new to the race this year. The proceeds from this event go directly to the PTA and are used in support of programs benefiting Wolftrap students and the community.  

Registration Fees: Note that online registration closes on Thursday, April 5 at 8:00 p.m. 

5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over): $30 through February 28 ($35 until online registration closes on April 5, then $40 for late and race day registration)

5k Run/Walk Child (12 & under): $20 through February 28 ($25 until online registration closes on April 5, then $30 for late and race day registration)

1 Mile Fun Run (untimed): $10 until online registration closes on April 5, $15 for late and race day registration

To guarantee a t-shirt before race day you must register by March 25. All other registrants will be informed of t-shirt pick-up at Wolftrap Elementary about 2 weeks after the event.

Start Time: The 1-mile fun run/walk will start at 8:00 a.m. The 5k will follow at 8:30 a.m. There is a 1-hour time limit for the 5k course. The event will take place rain or shine. Strollers are welcome at both races. Please be respectful of other runners and start in the back of the group if you are slower. 

Packet Pick up and Late Registration: Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, April 6 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria. Packet pick-up and walk-in registration will be held on race day, Sunday April 8 from 6:30 am to 7:45 am in the Wolftrap Elementary School cafeteria.

Awards & Prizes: For the 5k race, trophies and medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers including teachers and students. Additionally, medals will be awarded for the top male and top female finisher in each of the following age categories: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
