Join Mount Vernon on Sunday, September 9, 2018 for the area's most unique 5K/10K! Race up the George Washington Memorial Parkway and finish in front of the Mansion.


REGISTRATION FEES for 5K and 10k: 
February 15-28: Early registration $40
March 1-April 30: $45
May 1-September 2: $50
September 3-8: $60

Online registration will close on Thursday, September 6th at 8:00 pm. Runners will still be able register in person during packet pick up hours on Friday or Saturday, September 7-8 from 11:00 am-6:00 pm. 

Race Day packet pick up will begin at 5:30 am on Sunday, September 9 at 5:30 am.  

Admission to the estate is included in the race registration fee for the 5k and 10k
Both the 5k and 10k start at 8:00 am in the George Washington Memorial Parkway Circle

Kids Fun Run is free; they must register below and along with spectators must purchase a discounted admission ticket to enter the estate.
The kids fun will begin at 9:45 am on the Bowling Green, near the finish line.   

Packet pick up will be held at Mount Vernon, near the gift shop on Friday, September 7 from 1:00 - 7:00 pm and Saturday, September 8 from 10:00 am - 4:00pm and on Race Day in the circle starting at 5:30 am.

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finisher in the following categories for the 5k and 10k; Safety/first Responder, Active Duty Military, Veteran/Retired Military and the following age groups; 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & Over. 

Runners will receive a commemorative race shirt at packet pick up.

Quarter-zip pullover shirts with the race logo will be offered for an additional $44.

PARKING & SHUTTLES
There is a limited number of on site parking spaces available for purchase for $15.

Once those spaces are sold out, all other participants will need to take advantage of the free shuttles from the United States Patent and Trademark Office or Mount Vernon High School. If you purchase on site parking during registration, you will receive a parking pass at packet pick up with directions to the on site parking area.
