Attend, Run, walk or give back to raise awareness for innovations in spinal health care! 

Join the nation’s largest 5K event to celebrate healthy spines and benefit those suffering with neck & back pain. The We’ve Got Your Back Race consists of a timed 5K race, a 1 mile family-friendly fun run/walk, and Wellness Fair. This year SRF will host it’s 12th Annual event to raise awareness and critical funds to advance innovations in spinal health care. All Spinal Champions, those that have overcome their neck or back pain, will be treated to a VIP experience to celebrate their accomplishments. All are welcome to join us!  

The Spinal Research Foundation’s 12th Annual We’ve Got Your Back event will be held at Virginia Spine Institute.  

All Youth "Become a S.T.A.R.!" Participants aged 5-18 years, are designated S.T.A.R. Youth Ambassadors!

RACE DAY DETAILS:
Location: The Virginia Spine Institute (11800 Sunrise Valley Dr, Reston, VA)

     7-7:50 am: Onsite Registration, Packet Pickup, and Wellness Fair Opens
     7:50 am: Welcome & Pre-Run Warm-Up
     8 am: 5K Begins
     8:45 am: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Begins
     9:30 - 11 am: Awards ceremony,  Post-race Celebration and Wellness Fair

Early Packet Pickup: Friday, May 17 from 11 am-5 pm at THE Spinal Research Foundation / Virginia Spine Institute Office Building  (11800 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston) 

 REGISTRATION FEES: 
*Pre-registration on or before April 26, 2019 guarantees a shirt and medal*                                     

(4 and under are free, but not eligible for a race bib or shirt)

The fastest overall man and woman will receive:
1st place: $150
2nd place: $100
3rd place: $50
Plus, gift cards will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category.

    SPINAL CHAMPIONS: Have you overcome neck or back pain through non-surgical or surgical treatment? If yes, join us on this day for special recognition. Register as a Spinal Champion to receive special treatment and goodies. 

     BECOME A TEAM CAPTAIN! Get your friends, coworkers, neighbors, teammates, or classmates for some friendly competition and a great cause! Enter your team in the online registration process, which will allow all team members to select this team name from the drop down menu. A prize will be awarded to the largest corporate team! 


    Become a S.T.A.R. Teen of the Year!     
Any teen (13-18) who brings a team of 10, or raises $250 or more, become a Teen of the Year. Younger S.T.A.R. participants (5-12) can win school of the year with the highest number of registrants
