We love parks and want to make this event as environmentally friendly, as possible.

§           We will be participating in the Nike Reuse-a-Shoe Program.  Bring your old, worn-out athletic shoes to the Health Expo or on race day.   Nike Reuse-a-Shoe will grind them down to create a new material called Nike Grind, which is used to make high-quality sports surfaces including courts, turf fields, tracks and more.  Nike will accept any brand of shoe.

§           We will cut down on paper waste with “virtual race bags”, so that you can access coupons and flyers online.  You will still get a great reusable bag, but it will only be filled with goodies!

§           Your timing sensor will be attached to your biodegradable bib!
